how much space do you think i should leave free from music?

How much music do you have and need on your device?

The reason I didn't get a lower capacity model was because I have a lot of media.
 
like maybe 5gigs at at time of music right now...wanna make room for apps and stuff....idk i'm an iphone newb lol
 
Depends entirely on your usage.
have owned each version of the iPhone, and apart from the first one which was 8GB, all the others have been 16GB versions.
Currently have over 8GB free space.And if I am honest I could probably save a bit more space without missing anything.
 
Curious about this as well -- how much space have people needed for an iPhone loaded with apps and photos/video?

Although, regarding music, I am planning on using iTunes Match. I have 68 gigs of music. 😀
