Turning icloud back-up to off help battery life?

I have had it on since i got IOS 5 on here...so how much does it kill battery having it on.

I've noticed I lose about 5-6% overnight since where on IOS 4 i lost about 3%

you think this plays a factor?

iCloud may play some role since it requires Internet access every now and then. The only way to figure it out is to try it.

iCloud only backs up when the phone is locked, connected to power, and on WiFi.

So it only does it when in a dock or being charged?

Exactly.

You can force it to backup by going into settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and hitting "Backup Now".

Correct, if you're having battery life issue try restoring.

Not having real issues as last two days had over 7 hours usage and over 1 day in standby.

Just noticed overnight losing more % than I did previously.
