Location of iPad backup files?

Does anyone know where to find the ipad (w/iOS 5) backup files on a local computer running OS X Lion?

I'm not the search police. :) Search for backup on Apple's site (in support). Sorry, I don't have the link bookmarked. It describes backup locations for both Mac and Windows.
