So, before iOS 5, if I wanted to transfer my photos and videos from my iPod Touch or iPhone, I could connect it on my Mac and open iPhoto. My iPod or Iphone would show up as a Device, and I could transfer it all, like this nice own Apple tutorial says:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083

However, after iOS 5, my device does not appear anymore on iPhoto and, although I can get the photos from Photo Stream, the videos are not there!

What do I do??

EDIT:
ok, apparently it's just a matter of restarting/reseting

thanks anyway

Don't know, but if you find out let me know. I have the new 4S and can't get my videos off either. IPhoto does see the phone and starts downloading the photos but it then errors when it gets to the video.

sorry man, don't know how to help you with that.
as I said, after editing my post, I solved my problem restarting my device... it appeared on iPhoto, and I could transfer them just fine
