Somebody should talk to Mr. Anderson about this...;)

Man, that guy must have been seriously OCD about this. His wife should have stepped in then letting him slave away like this...

Who haven't we seen around here recently?
Or more importantly, who have we been seeing too much of?

OK Picard, stick that in your pipe and smoke it... Ack.

This has got to be the weirdest thing I've heard in a while. Did he ever use the restroom? :)

Well, who are the most active members?

I'm pretty active here, but jsw and wdlove are both more than twice as active as I am (judging by average posts per day).

MacRumors has been my favorite online community ever since I got an avatar, and it's been that way ever since.

This is a hoax / satire, right? This article is too absurd sounding, although I'm not familiar with the source.

Well, who are the most active members?

Hmmm, I couldn't imagine who...

In the past Doctor Q has presented some stats about forum members posting stats/habits. Some very familiar names will be on that list.

I thought this when I read it. There was something about the way it was written. Oh, and the completely outlandish storyline . But all the other articles seem authentic enough, so I think it might be. Just too crazy.

The only other article Google News found for me on this topic used this article as its reference. I doubt it's real, although apparently there really is a place called "West Nyack" in NY.

Geez, I can't imagine losing control like that.... everything in moderation.

It does make you wonder what forums he was a part of. Chances are someone on these boards had contact with him somewhere.

It goes..

"WARNING! SATIRE AHEAD!"
Below it are a few links. Including that one.

If I posted every couple minutes, I'd have way more posts than I do now....

And I like food, so there's never any chance I'll be missing out on a meal..

Yep looks like something straight from The Onion (http://www.theonion.com/)
The scariest think is some of you believed it!

That is very sad. Just goes to show that the old saying is very true, all good things in moderation. I can see how easy it is to spend time on line. Mr. Wanamaker needed some other outside activities. It said that he was an account executive, wonder how he was at handling his job. My prayers go out to his family, friends, and virtual friends.

Its sad to say but I'm not the only one thinking it.

GET A LIFE

Seriously, if you are on 48 different forums and post two posts for every minute of every hour of every day, the appropriate term is "Loser"

Is it a hoax or real? I visit the Onion weekly, but are they trying to be like the Onion?
