So today I was trying to figure out why the AT&T usage app shows that I apparently used a lot of data yesterday. I'm on the 200meg plan, so I worry about these things.. I haven't solved it yet. No, no streaming. Yes, I have "remote images" turned off in email. I only get push from one email addr plus facebook. Nothing else. No, I don't automatically d/l purchases, etc, etc..
BUT one thing I did notice: Even though I've intentionally avoided setting up iCloud for my phone and my wife's (for now), in iCloud settings, everything is OFF except for "Documents & Data", and "Find my iPhone". What's more interesting: Documents & Data is set to ALLOW cellular syncing. I immediately turned that part off as soon as I noticed it.
Why is Documents & Data defaulted to ON at all? And why is it defaulted to allow cellular sync rather than require wifi?
