Hi,
If I set up "Sync iPhone Wireless-WiFi" in iTunes (after iOS 5 update) I see a continuos logs in the Console if the iPhone is "sleep" but with WIFI on. Is the mac who try to connect to the iPhone, infact the mac address is the iPhone address.
But this is weird and annoying, and I also think this thing drain the iPhone battery (maybe for that the StandBy time with iOS5/iPhone4S dropped to 200hours - instead 300hours of iOS 4?)

Code:

And if I turn off the WiFi in the iPhone the logs say that the "Fish out of water!!!" maybe is a funny way to say "iPhone out of netwoork" :D

If i don't check "Sync wifi this iPhone" in iTunes, I've got no logs/callback from the mac to the iphone.

Is this a my problem or is a problem for all the "wifi syncher users"? :D

Thanks for the help ;)

I have the exact same problem. As soon as I detach my iOS device(s) from iTunes the log file starts cluttering with those messages...
Have you been able to solve the problem?

No :( only way to don't have these logs is disable WiFi Sync on the Mac or the WiFi on the iPhone.

Apple should fix this! I hope in a nex iOD / iTunes update...

I also have the same issue...
And it is also draining my mac batteries when it is at sleep and iTunes is open.
It looks like wifi sync is still not at its best. i will probably just turn it off.
Let me know if you find any solution.
