I just upgraded to 4.8 and when i opened it up again i started playing my music and after about 10 mins it unexpectedly quits so i reopen it and it oes it again and then a 3rd time. After i restarted it still did it and everytime i reopen iTunes it brings up that license agreement thing like i never magaed to open it the first time. Also when i expand the window so i can change playlists i get the spinning beach ball and then iTunes goes unresponsive but the music keeps playing. How would i go about reverting back to my old versino of iTunes?

Try deleting the preference file for iTunes and see if it helps. I've had 4.8 since it was released and so far, I haven't had any problems with it.
