Album covers all mixed up

I noticed after doing the round of updates last week for my Macbook & iPod Touch (iPhone 3 version) on my iPod a lot of my album cover images got all mixed up.. like it's showing the wrong cover for some albums and the right one for others. I looked on iTunes on my mac and everything looks ok there, it's just on my iPod. Anyone have this happen? how do I fix it? I spent like 2 weeks scanning album covers for the ones iTunes couldn't find, I don't wanna have to do all that again :)

Whenever I transfer purchases from my iPhone, the album artwork gets mixed up. I have no idea why this happens. It usually replaces everything with an Adele cover (again, no idea why).
