all depends on what type of games you enjoy the most....

Look at my G5 specs to compare performance for games.
Unreal Tournament is very good. It will run perfectly in your machine
Halo will also run good and it is a very addictive game.
Warcraft 3 will keep you busy for a long time.
Command & Conquer Generals.

Battlefield 1942 runs well on my G5 - I can max out all graphics settings. Another good game is StarWars Jedi knight - Jedi Academy. Go over to Aspyr (www.aspyr.com) and check out what games are on offer. I know StarWars Battlefront is due out soon as well.
