Can't restore Apple TV

I finally was able to jailbreak my ATV and install plex, but plex wasn't working properly and only 2 menu items were showing up under it, so I decided to say screw the whole thing and just restore back to manufacturer default in itunes. It goes through the process then eventually gets stuck on "Veryifying Apple TV restore" and gives me a failed 1602 error after a long time. Any idea what's wrong or how I can restore now?

EDIT: Scratch that, Windows came to the rescue. Tried the same thing on pc instead of mac and it worked.
