Ok, i wonder if any of you guys will be able to help me.

ive got an old joe cocker album called "I can Stand A Little Rain" which has been out of CD production in the UK for about 10 years. The last track on the album is called "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" and i am desperately trying to get a digital copy of it. I would recorded from my vinyl but it is pretty scratched :( .

Anyone know where i could find the album on CD or perhaps MP3/AAC

Cheers

If all else fails, you can get a live version from Matt's CD Singles here (http://www.mattscdsingles.com/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Joe_Cocker_868.html). I've ordered from there before and have always had prompt deliveries in good condition.

Best of luck finding the version you want, though - hopefully for free.

As a side note, the song was named after a book by Robert A. Heinlein (see http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=books-uk&field-keywords=%22The%20Moon%20is%20a%20Harsh%20Mistress%22/ref=xs_ap_l_xgl/026-5365859-3721250here). It's an old book, but a good one.

That's so dumb, why have only certain artists available on specific stores?

Maybe Mr. Cocker said, to hell with the brits! That song is only for Lithuanians!
