Do i need to store my apps on my Macbook now I use iCloud?

Hello,

Now I have upgraded to iOS 5 and now sync through iCloud do i have to store my apps on my Macbook still or can I delete them?

not really....but it is easier to update LOTS of apps with sync rather than the app store still.

I'll always keep a local copy. App can be removed from the App store. If so, it's gone for good.

I assumed not, but today I had to sync some new music to my iPad. iTunes told me that some apps were on my iPad but not on my computer, and if I didn't transfer them, they'd be removed from the iPad.
