sorry. i know it's basic, but want to be 100% before i order.

So, is there a limit to the size of external fwire drive i can use with my iMac G3...?

Yeah, I'd go 95% that there's no limit.

If there ever was, this would have been solved through System software updates, as it would be the OS that would set a limit.

And noticing that you have Panther, you'll be fine.

Buy as big as you like! :)
