Problems with Safari and the Apple Mac OS X Downloads site.

Why is it that Safari gets a chokeslam from hell when I try to browse Apple's Downloads site (such as the Dashboard Widgets downloads)? I get the beach ball all the time. I get beach balls SELECTING text for crying out loud!

What's going on?
 
Duff-Man says....I don't have any trouble at Apple's download site at all...I am browsing widgets in another tab right now and it is just as it should be. Have you tried the basics - flush the cache, restart Safari.....oh yeah!
 
Err... no I didn't. And now I did. Everything seems to be fine again. 😱
