I kinda like my Tiger Dock!
"Essential" means "absolutely necessary" or "fundamental to the nature of something or someone". I don't think this software it that, it's just a tinker-tool!
I think this review is somewhat non-subjective, seeing as the reviewer has used it for 4 years!

I can see why it might be nice to use, but "essential"? - No. I seem to manage without it :p

Not to mention it doesn't appear to work for me. Says it's been tested with 10.4-Final, which I have, and it won't let me edit anything.

Perhaps i need to copy the silly thing to the harddrive first.

Edit:

So, i did that, and now I get this error:

Finder got an error: Can't make size of file "Dock" of folder "MacOS" of folder "Contents" of application file "Dock.app" of folder "CoreServices" of folder "Library" of folder "System" of startup disk into type reference. (-1700)

I see!

Screw this thing, eh?
