iPod touch Just how good is the iPod Touch latest Gen picture taking Ability?

My sister wants to buy a iPod Touch the latest one, and I know it does HD video at 720p quality which is pretty good, not as good as 1080p but still very good. However there is a question here no where on Apple's site does it give the MP rating. I heard it is 0.7 MP? How can that be? If it does 720p for video then why doesn't it have at least a 5 MP rating for the still shots?

Really can anyone shed any light on this on how good the still pictures look? Or can some of you that owns a iPod 4th or 5th Gen whichever it is that is out now, post some of your pictures here so I can show my sister?

The G1 iPhone and 3G both had the same 2MP sensor but the 3G had slightly better image processing and produced marginally better photos as far as grain is concerned. But I think all three of them are crap, still image wise (iPhone 1G, 3G, and 4G touch).
