alright, so I know this is a bit of a long shot, but is there any app out there that can transform a regular picture into one composed of letter/numbers/symbols? i know it wouldn't be very good detail or anything close to quality if such a program did exist, but, it would be pretty cool. anyone know of one?

I'm sure you can find plugins/filters for Adobe Photoshop that will do that.
