Where's iTunes Match?

I love Apple, but not a fan of their secrecy when passing deadlines they have openly admitted. This happened with the white iP4 too.

How difficult is it for them to say, "Match has been postponed 2 weeks to address xxx issues."?

I sorta took the whole bit about releasing iTunes 10.5.1 beta 2 as that admission.

So "end of Oct" is now ??? per this admission? I'm not trying to be smart, but rather we went from a tangible date to complete speculation. Meanwhile, Apple is tighted lipped, for what apparent reason!

I think it's more what was "end of Oct" has turned into "whenever we've worked out whatever bugs we're working out". It's just not ready, I guess.

That's my point, what harm comes from admitting, there are still bugs to work out, so the target release date has been pushed back 2 weeks? Instead, we look each day to see if it's released. Each time it's not, we get a little more disappointed.

Absolutely nothing.

I'm just baffled how Apple can give a date, let it come and go, and notta word!

Imagine if the iP4S date came & the doors remained locked...people would prob want to know what's up. I'll just wait patiently and assume its coming soon just like the white iP4. How many people waited patiently for that?

No, because it may be Oct 2012 since no year was stated.
