hey SMumps...what law school is she going to??? i'm going to law school this fall in kansas and i'll be purchasing a powerbook come august...the school says it doesnt support macs, but that just mean they can't help w/ it...there is examsoftware that only runs on windows, though...does she plan doing this??? if not, she can keep the ibook...better machine...

she's going to Michigan - and apparently examsoft will work only on PCs and virtual PC just doesn't cut it. I agree, macs are better - but not according to UM!

it's just for that one piece of exam software which you can use the schools computers for, or pick up a crappy 500MHz celeron for like $20 just for that app.

I received numerous emails from buyers asking for "live shots," who were paranoid that I'd send it and it just wouldn't start up. Also, many wanted to see the specs on the screen. My sister took pics with her digital rebel and we used the ibook to upload them and put them on imageshack. Used Adium to send the links to the other puter.
