Is there any reason why the create windows 7 usb is grayed out on the 2010 macbook air? 😕

There have been other threads on this. I started one below.

I guess its something to do with the Mac version of the BIOS ie when booting MBA pre 2011 cannot boot from a USB. Some have tried - is it Refit?

So you need an external disc or lots of fiddling.

Only for the 2011 as far as I know.. :/ Try rEFIT.

I managed to use Winclone to copy my new installed windows 7 on my 2011 MBA to The 2010 MBA worked a treat.
