i need Tiger on CD's for a friend. I have it on DVD but his G3 isnt equipped. Willing to trade for all kinds of stuff, just let me know how you want to do this. Or we can do money, whatever works!

Or you can buy tiger and pay apple 10 bucks to trade it in...

So what you're saying is 1) You want to install Tiger on a computer for which you don't have another license for; 2) Even so, you are still too cheap to even pay Apple $10 for a CD version of the OS.

That's not how I interpreted it, with the subject 'want to buy or trade'. I would've thought that buying Tiger CDs would include a licence.

For $10 through Apple... I'm not sure you'd even get someone to bother. Shipping alone will bring you to the $10 point.

This leads me to believe that cyanide bought Tiger and said friend wants to install cyanide's license on his computer too.

I don't steal software, he would be purchasing it from me. which is kind of a steal for me.. heh.. but yeh, i could pay the ten bucks but then i would be losing my copy of tiger on dvd to sell or trade. anyone actually interested in talking about what i asked for?

Seems to me that if he were purchasing Tiger from you... you wouldn't have a copy of Tiger to sell or trade anyway. If I feel at all offended, it's because I'm displeased that I (along with many other legally licensed individuals) have to pay a premium to make up for those that pirate the software.

Technically, if you sell your friend your copy of Tiger, you are required to uninstall it from your computer.
