Any software recommendations for making GIFs out of movie segments?

Open movie in QT Pro > Export to image sequence (save in to a new folder) > Open Adobe ImageReady > File > Import > Folder as Frames > Save as :cool:

That requires QT Pro :eek:
Anything free? I do have Adobe CS's various software... not much else.

Are you talking about a single frame (like a screenshot) or creating something like an animated GIF?

just drag a quicktime movie onto imageready's dock icon. works for me :eek: not with every codec tho, specifically h.264 though dont know about that in cs2
