I'd like to trade my year-old 12" PowerBook G4 for a 23" Aluminum Apple Cinema Display. I prefer a face-to-face transaction in the Chicago area so we both can see what we're getting.
specs:
1.33GHz G4
1.25GB RAM
60GB HDD
built-in Airport Extreme and Bluetooth
combo drive (CDRW/DVD-ROM)
The Apple warranty has run its course but I have Safeware insurance on it, which if it's not transferable could easily be purchased by the new owner. My premium was $90 for the full value of the computer with zero deductible.
There are no dents or dings, the battery operates like new and there are zero pixel anomalies (nothing dead or stuck). I have the original box and everything that came in the box.
I want an aluminum 23" display with no pink or purple cast, no pixel anomalies and even lighting.
I'm open to the plastic 23" display as long as it is clean, has no pixel anomalies, the backlight is solid and it includes both a DVI-ADC adapter and a bit of cash. Less cash would be required if I were to keep the 1GB SODIMM, however.
As far as possible iMac G5 trades go, I'd consider a 20". Thanks.
