Ps3 on apple cinema display 2010 not imac

Hey....guys..i have an apple cinema display...2010 model...not an imac...can i still connect my ps3 and use the display.....using the belfan converter...or does it only work for the imac....also....would you advise belfan??
 
for 2010 iMac 27" I hear Atlona HD620 is the best. It up converts the 1080P signal to 1440P, instead of going down to 720P only.
