Explains why on the Gmail page it went from signing in with your Gmail account to signing in with your Google Account. Pretty interesting...

I guess they're trying to keep up with Yahoo! on the front page front. Yahoo! always had the best page, while Google's was bland and empty.

It changed when they implemented the search history feature.
