Can you use the power cord from a G5 PPC iMac for an aluminium Intel iMac?

Absolutely. You can even use a power cord from a ten-year-old Compaq CRT.

AC power cords are standard. If it fits, it will work.

(not true of AC/DC, and with AC, obviously, the power supply has to support the AC power put out from the power plant)
