I'm close to buying SR3 but there have ben mixed reports of performance issues. I'd be running from a Bootcamp partition and was wondering if anyone else with my model iMac (2010 i5 27") is running it ok?

Does SR3 support the 360 controller? . . . I've got GTA:SA and VC on Steam and they don't work that great with it.

So I've answered my own questions by purchasing SR3 through Steam.

Support for the 360 controller is good and it runs great at fullscreen resolution with the details set to Medium/Low which doesn't detract at all.
I wasn't expecting it to look so good and play so well to be honest as this iMac has an ATI 5*** series card and people are reporting a lot of problems with ATI cards.

I'll try it on High and see how it plays.

It's possible to get SA working 100% with an Xbox 360 controller (had to build a mod myself), but not VC.

I'll probably pick up SR3 when its on sale but glad to know it works with a controller.

Installing it as we speak. A lot of the ATI problems seem to be in X-fire so hopefully no problems here.

Edit: 2560x1440 is very juddery, 1080 runs well with medium setting.

I've dropped the resolution down to 720 wih custom settings for a smoother performance. Still looks good when playing.
