Help ! - Wireless Keyboard

Hey all,

I just got a new wireless Apple mouse and keyboard. Popped the batteries in both, bluetoothed the mouse, worked great !

However, the keyboard is another story: I did the same, also worked like a charm, except when I try to pair it and it tells me to enter the code (and I enter it) I get a message (see attachment).

Can anybody help on this ?

I have experienced the same situation numerous times with different Mac systems and different Mac wireless keyboards. I have been more successful with the pairing process during startup with no other USB devices connected. This pairing process is pathetic and unfriendly.
