OS X internet connect question

I have a little annoying problem with the internet connect application in OS X; 10.1.5 to be exact.
I can't seem to delete some extra phone numbers that are listed in the telephone number entry box.
I tried to do it in my network system preferences but it doesn't work. The numbers are still listed and I can't seem to get rid of them.
Am I overlooking something simple or is this a bug?
It doesn't affect the operation of the app but it is a little annoying to see all these dial-up phone numbers that I don't need.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to find the preferences files and see if they're editable plist files, and try to edit it that. Or, just delete the prefs and it should all be gone, allowing you to start fresh.

Are you in admin mode? If an admin has shared his connection with you, it would be presumable that you wouldn't be able to delete the extra numbers.
