What would be the cheapest used & best setup of following?
I have no TV or DAC (so AppleTV2 might not be an option). Have OSX Tiger.
I have an old cell phone that could need replacing. But, I don't use it much.
1 Airport express
with iPod touch 2G/3G, or an iPhone 3G (slightly more expensive than iPod?)
Could also go for an iPod touch 4G, but then I need to purchase Leopard too.
2 AppleTV gen. 1
with either iPod touch 1G or iPhone 2G (these only go to iOS3, so no Airplay,
but Remote.app, storing the music collection (about 40GB) on the AppleTV)
Is there a huge difference in using Airplay and Remote.app?
Maybe the latter doesn't have cover art and such? Thanks.
