Hi,

sice yesterday I'm having this weird problem with my laptop (which until now has worked flawlessly).

When I turn my computer on or wake it up (by opening the lid or just pressing a random key while the lid is open) the display turns on and works normally for a few seconds, then it goes dark and there's no way to make the display work again other than by closing and re-opening the lid or waiting for the laptop to go to the sleepmode and then waking it up again - then the display turns on for a few seconds and the whole story repeats. Even when the display is dark, the laptop itself works normally - it boots etc.

Strangely, the display seems to work fine when I boot into the safe mode.

I though this might be a graphic-card driver issue and re-installed the system, but it didn't help at all.

Does any of you guys have any suggestions what this could be and if I could fix this on my own? They'd be greatly appreciated!
