Well, just got my replacement iBook battery (after the recall), and I am wondering the best steps for keeping it top-notch...
I have been reading this (http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm) and heres what I am thinking:
Begin by a calibration (full charge, then discharge until sleep)
Charge all the way back up before use
Do not leave plugged in all the time
Cycle entire battery (discharge and recharge) once a month
For regular use: Partial/frequent charges are fine
Does that sound good? I normally try not to leave it plugged in all the time, I let it go down to 50 or so then charge back up.
Thoughts?
