51-100. It's absolutely ridiculous. Thank goodness for the junk mail filter. :)

about as much chance as Janet Reno in Penthouse
maybe when Steve Ballmer loses weight and buys a computer with Red Hat installed
when the Beatles reunite for a world tour
I may be Ms. Spam but I get absolutely none in my unpaid Yahoo! account.:)

I get between 10-60 a day, but Apple's new Junkmail Filter usually catches all but less than 5, it's got to be the best thing they ever created.

This poll would have more value if it were percentage based.
I get 2-3 pieces a day, but that is in a pool of 200 actual messages. This is a significant testament to privacy/anominity and 'Bounce'.
However, if I were to receive 2-3 of spam, and 5 actual messages, I'd be in trouble.
On a related note, does anyone know for sure if the Junk Mail filter in Mail is smart enough to remember Junk which is subsequently bounced?
I bounce all junk, and have yet to activate the filter, as I'm unsure if it has been properly trained, since all junk is flagged and bounced.

I'm not sure how much spam I get in my email, as I'm using someone else's email.
But he gets maybe 1 or 2 every 2 days. And that's with no filter.

i must have signed up for the wrong thing with my yahoo address, because i get about 40 a day... yahoo is cool though, they put it in the junk mail folder directly, and it is so effective i have never seen a personal mail get filed there. so i just delete without looking. not much trouble at all.

Really?
I switched from Netscape to Yahoo! and I have yet to get a single SPAM mail.
This is the free account too.
Maybe mine is screwed up, but I'm not complaining.;)

yeah. yahoo itself is good about not giving your email away. for an incredibly long time i had nothing but personal stuff, but in the last year or so i suddenly started getting totally spammed. i am not sure why; i think i must have forgotten to restrict "sending stuff" to my email on some site or something. i was really annoyed at first, but i realiszed i don't care THAT much.

I just wish the junk filter would work for me... if I was to turn it on I would lose most emails from friends.
What is with the 4 people getting 500+... that just sounds rediculous

I get 30-50/day, a little less on weekends.
I use Outlook Express with several filters which catches all of it. If its the emailer's address is not in my address book, it gets bounced to the Junk Mail folder. Throughout the day I check the folder and anything relevant gets added to my address book so it won't get bounced again. It's a decent system. The only problem is that if I read an email in the Junk Mail folder and then go to my Inbox folder, that flagged email gets erased. I will be switching to Apple Mail when I switch completely to OS X when Quark ships. Hopefully, I can reproduce the same system in Mail.

When I was on Hotmail, with the account I had for over five years, I got more spam than personal letters, anything from 6-30 spam mails a day. Now that I switched to yahoo, I get nearly none. Occasionally one floats in but that's no biggie. Yay for yahoo! :)

I get way too much SPAM and it really angers me! I have a .Mac account, earthlink account, csonline.net account from work (we are an Apple reseller, service provider, and ISP), hotmail, yahoo, 3 netscape, dreamcom.net (from previous job), AOL, and a few others that I can't remember at the moment. I probably get 300+ spam messages a day. The darn filters don't work either. I have tried making rules and activating them and I have tried filters. They all fail me.....which really makes me angry.

my 'junk mail' email account, which I am sure is filled to the brim
in junk mail by now. Doesn't matter ;) :D

exactly..... I think that MS should (when registering you for all its
passport shiznatch) call its account you create a dummy account
bc i bet they give your 'premium email account' out to so many
companies.

i don't think messages that you bounce are flagged as Junk in mail at all... your best bet is to flag it first, then bounce it. so far i have not had any luck bouncing things, i don't have a single spammer that has a real email address. i do agree Junk is a godsend, i used to get tons from one site alone, UltimateSportsInfo.com, which is pathetic because i'm interested in sports less than women. tried unsubscribing, blah blah, had to go to the trouble of extracting the link from source code because they put a garbage character in it to weed out novices, and then it STILL didnt remove me... i was mad pissed. one of the main reasons i upgraded to jaguar at all...
anyway, all of my email addresses combined, i probably get 50-200 a day... tho there are some i just don't check anymore, they've become junk addresses. for a long time i was really good about only giving my ISP address to friends (close ones at that) and immidiate family, but even then i started getting spam. evidently my local co-op ISP sells addresses. bastards.
for the record, i have to complain a bit about yahoo... i signed up for a new account to use for a special purpose, and before i used it once or gave out the address, i started getting spam. Granted it's nothing compared to hotmail (switched 4 years ago and never looked back) but still annoying. ah well.

For the narly beasts that find me through pirating my info from servers after I send an email... I find my Network Utility works great (if I'm motivated) to hunt down their ISP's technical contact, and presto... no more email from them ever again... (usually techs will take care of the problem asap and eradicate the vermin).

Is it possible for you to do this in times where the email that the spam is sent from is not correct???

I haven't gotten a single spam letter since I stopped using my hotmail account a couple of years ago. *Knocks on wood*
