I'm actually surprised Apple took this long to take it down. Usually they react within minutes once a mistake like this is found.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.1; en-gb; Galaxy Nexus Build/ITL41D) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

Whoever grabbed it before it was pulled, congrats! Looks to be one handy app. 😀

If I really wanted to tether I would simply jailbreak, but I don't, so I didn't buy it.

Plus I dont want to lose my unlimited data the same way my friend did...

i think that link is just for the software to install on your mac, not the actual itether iphone app.

Garbage app anyway.

Not wireless, works only with a Mac or PC (i.e. no smartphones/iPads/etc.), costs $15, requires software on the client machine, and only works with one device at a time.

...I think I'll stick to my free wireless tethering on Android.

What happened?

I had ample time to buy this but the method was just undesirable for the cost. I don't need to tether my MBP, just my iPad WiFi. I still like my decision of giving up my unlimited data for the 4GB tether.

SURPRISE! Oh, wait. It's not. 🙄 Last night I thought about throwing away a Hamilton and Lincoln but decided it wasn't worth it (for me).

Not sure why people want it either? 1) it's extremely restricted in use (not even comparable to android tethering), but 2) say good bye to unlimited, AT&T especially can easily tell when your tethering since using a computer to do stuff use much more data online then the iPhone. They can see spikes in data usage and it's an easy excuse for them to pull your unlimited w/o actually proving whether your were tethered or weren't. And if your on one of the normal plans they can force you to pay the extra $ for tethering.

Not worth the risk.
