So at work, Random House sent us advanced reader copies of the book the Traveler by John Twelve Hawks...I just finished my copy today. I started yesterday at noon. I was BLOWN AWAY!!! It has the potential to be a serious breakout contender for summer bestsellers. It was incredibly well written, extremely readable, and really twisty and creative.

I know it's kind of weird to start a thread on a book that doesn't come out until the end of june, but i really wanted to share it on these boards. the book is very technophobic in a lot of ways, although not directly. but given the threads i've seen on "favorite book" etc i think this one will quickly vault onto those lists.
