I have an 11 inch macbook aor from which id like to extend the display to my 27inch imac via thunderbolt.

Both models are 2011. But its not working.

I posted this earlier in the imac section but didnt get much response.

What about just providing all the information in this thread instead of "linking" (one has to C&P the link) to a WAP thread?

And as you still have warranty, what about visiting an Apple Store?
Is one of your Macs less than 90 days old? Is the iMac running Lion?
