iPod Nano (6th gen) not keep time

This may sound peculiar but I've noticed since I've purchased my iPod nano in september, and using it as a watch, that it never has kept time consistently. It's set to CST and after a day or so I'll notice it's slipped by anywhere up to ten minutes fast or behind.

Is there some sort of os update needed or is this common?

I will say that I spent a week in florida, reset the timezone and time to East coast time and it stayed consistent the whole week.

any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I get this problem too and I have a solve too, lol. Normally when you use Nano as watch (no listen music) it's ok but when you turn on music Nano doesn't keep time more. So, when turn on music, let back screen in "music" or "playlist" etc, dont let screen "song playing" or "main screen" and you will keep time as a watch normally.
