But did Steve get chemotherapy? That'll make you lose heaps of weight.

How many times do I have to tell you people to read iCon?

Steve packed on some pounds during the last stages of NeXT and the beginning of Pixar. He has always practiced vegetarianism, I just suspect he's been taking care of himself.

Since Steve suffered from Pancreatic cancer, surgery, and chemotherapy; would be a reason to loose weight. Would be interesting to actually see the pictures and know the timing of them. Could be that he is watching what he eats and so isn't gaining any weight above his healthy weight.

He didn't have chemotherapy.

Steve's pretty healthy though, a shame that he had cancer, i hope it doesnt come back or whatever....

btw, i dont believe in 'diets' its a lifestyle choice in the manner in which you decide to eat....

People should read "The Second Coming of Steve Jobs" by Alan Deutschman. He does a good job at looking into Steve's personal life by interviewing his close friends and collegues. I think iCon ripped this book off a lot. Almost all of the same info in iCon was written in the above mentioned book. Keep in mind, "The Second Coming of Steve Jobs" was published in 2000. I've read a lot of reviews saying that iCon brings nothing new to the table.

Oh yeah, and Steve is vegetarian, not a vegan. He eats Salmon on occation. Vegan's do not eat or use any animal products. Last time I checked, Salmon were fish (a.k.a animals).

He actually looks sickly. There are no long term studies on vegans but I'm willing to bet their lifespans are actually shorter than other omnivorous people.

Do vegans tend to avoid eating honey? What about yeast? They may be single celled, but still...

What are vegans supposed to eat if they're cutting out all possible food sources that contain cells? :p

JellO? Twinkies?

JellO? Twinkies?

You really don't want to know what Jello is...

Vegans don't eat animals. Yeast is a fungus. It is non ambulatory. It is at the bottom of the fungus kingdom. Giardia, Crptosporidia and the like are probably higher life forms than yeast.

That's definitely not true.... Where did you here that from? Actually being a vegetarian/vegan is a lot more healthy if you have the proper diet....

really, vegetarians don't eat any animals either... personally i feel that salmon and other fish are animals and thus eating fish is not a strict vegetarian. but then again, it's all a label so who cares really

Giardia and Cryptosporidia are single celled parasites.
