Textbox in Pages?

Has any one found a way in pages to place images into a document without having the text/formating all change, like how in Word you can place a textbox anywhere without changes - and place an image into the textbox?

That one thing really annoys me! I cant get documents to look just how i want them to, with out the formating going all screwy? Other than that I think pages is pretty decent.

In the Inspector, in the Wrap tab, simply un-check the box that says "Object causes wrap." Viola!
