Not to detract from the story, but Trinity College actually just an off site, loosely affiliated dorm room complex that has tutors and sporting activities. It has residential facilities for about 290-300 students. Although 20 computers is worth about AUD$160000 to Apple, it's not a whole university, and therefore not a giant leap for Mackind.

this is true, but i think the reason it's been noted is because generally the switch is normally from windows to mac - switching from linux to mac is generally more rare.

also note that the deal was around worth $90k in the end (linkety (http://www.macworld.co.uk/news/index.cfm?NewsID=11662) ). not a v.large amount, but still not change :)
