Final Cut filter help

Hi,

Can anyone help me with achieving a blur effect which starts of minimal then builds up to a deep blur, to end a scene. I played around with Final Cut Pro for a while, but couldn't do it, can anyone helpme please.

Keyframing should do it - just click on the video track, select Video Filters->gaussian blur (for example)

Then double click on the track to bring it up in the slug and select the filters tab to adjust.
