ipod problem

i have ipod 6 gen. 160gb

my iPod won't recognize on any computer.
my iPod still works.
but whenever i connect my iPod to computer it gives me freezes.
i tried to format my iPod but it gives error saying that "erasing failure"
can't restore because my iPod is not showing on iTunes

help please

if everything else about the iPod works, diagnose iTunes or your computer first.

i don't have problems in my macbook
i tried to connect my iPod on 3 computers (macbook, iMac, and windows laptop) to restore it.
but the problem is it won't recognize.

its possible that the hard drive is failing. have you tried putting the ipod into disc mode, then connecting to the computer?
