"I switched completely to Macs"

Ive been running Linux and OpenBSD since '99 on PCs. Since the mini came out, I was finally able to afford a mac and I couldnt be happier.

Not in the slightest. I think it's pretty cool but I'm already an avid Mac user. :)

Yeah, no impact. Switched for the iBook G4. Personal preference is to not only never own a windows computer again, but also to never own a desktop again. :) Actually I'd probably go Win before I'd go desktop....Not that there's really a situation in which that choice makes any sense.

SO you would buy a windows laptop before you got a PowerMac G5?

Yes. Basically, if possible, I would rather never see another cable in my life. :) Sadly I value form on par with function. And so I can wait a while for my PS filters to run!

Oh, don't get me wrong...it would either be a Thinkpad or a Vaio. And it might even run Linux. You're the one that that made the What's Good About Windows thread...I don't think it's a very good OS, but it's livable as long as you never run MSIE unless you absolutely have to.
