I am now on my fifth attempt to get reliable data capture to achieve this. Latest product BlackMagic Video Recorder claims H.264 encoding but seems to be stuck at 480p. If anyone can help me achieve this Id be so grateful. Have connected Xbox, via component, through data cpature and then run Black Magic VR software but the quality is low.
I have tried other capture devices, Elgato Video Capture, HD PVR, ADVC 55, EasyCap and none of these appear to get me any quality. elgato was the best but could not handle too much data and froze etc
