1. Are there any scratches on the refurbished units?

2. Do they give you new earbuds?

1. No
2. No

I'm guessing you're talking about the Nano Recall?

No sir, I've never had an iPod. I was just wondering if the refurbished
iPods go through the same scrutiny as the refurbished notebooks...

They look just like new, so it won't have scratches at all. As far as headphones, they will be brand new. I've never bought a refurb iPod, but I'm sure Apple wouldn't give you someone's crusty headphones. Lol.

You receive everything that comes in a brand new nano, including headphones and cable, and a nano that looks brand new, wrapped in plastic. The only visual difference is it's usually packaged in a brown or white box instead of the retail box.
