So looks like the new ISO C standard has been ratified.

Looks interesting for C programmers - I wonder how fast compilers will implement support for the new standard. If C99 is anything to go off it will take a good 10 years before you can count on reasonable support from a mix of different compilers.

Clang is actually doing quite well already with support for the new C standard.
