Gmail offers free pop access and more storage for free, plus they're just coming out with all kinds of new stuff on a monthly basis anymore.
yahoo feels too .. cluttered. i gave up my yahoo account long ago after switching to gmail, the spam filtering in gmail absolutely rocks.. way better than thunderbird or mail.app in terms of filtering spam. in fact, i have yet to get ANY spam on my gmail account.
if you want a gmail invite, PM me .. anyone that is. i'm not sure if they're allowing people to sign up freely yet or not. but if you need an invite i'll gladly send them away, just PM with your email addresses and i'lls end them as i get them.
