Hey, time has come to sell my MBP for a MBA. I have no need for the MBP.

Specs are: 2.2 GHz i7 - 8 GB - 15" - Early 2011. AppleCare till March 2014

The box for the MBP was thrown out a while ago (silly somebody - no me ;) )

It's got the leads, and the manual is somewhere around...

Question is, will this take the price down? Also it's got the faintest bumps on the back, you can see a tiny dip in the light, but nothing major. (it's literally nothing) also where I've had my protecter on the bottom, dirt has got in and scratched the sides when I removed it, so a tiny but of scratch. But the beast runs like crazy, and it's going to last a long time. Any ideas how much it could be worth? I still have a receipt in my email.

I bought it with 15% discount on, so it was £2100 to £1800 plus free AppleCare.

Any advice what I can ask for it? Thanks :0

In the US, probably about $1500-$1600 or so. Applecare is good, but not having the box (and, presumably, not having the restore discs), combined with the wear you describe, means you'll likely get less than what a refurbished model would sell for, which is $1699 in the US refurbished store.
