Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could help with this, i cant seem to import it straight away, so need to convert it. Have been using compression master, but all the quicktime movies come out quite poor qualtiy...

Just wondering if anyone knows how i could keep all the quality from the original, or at least most of it. Maybe someone could tell me the settings or profiles for compression master that would retain the quality and import into after effects 6.5

Thanks

After you run the video through After Effects, where is it going to end up?

A great program to transcode m2v to other formats is MPEG Streamclip. It's free but you need the $20 QuickTime MPEG2 Playback Component to use it. Look up MPEG Streamclip on versiontracker.
